APAHA is sponsoring an educational symposium September 4-7, 2026 that will bring together many of Bettina Drummond’s students who are working to preserve her teachings and continue her goal of promoting horsemanship as an art. The educational symposium will also explore and educate on the French system of riding and training that was so much a part of Bettina’s approach. Olivier Puls, a former member of France’s prestigious Cadre Noir and an expert in long-lining and the French system, will join APAHA to share his knowledge and the lessons he learned in his work with Bettina.
